The DBI allows arriving visitors access to a home's VCPage Intercom System. Pushing the DBI's lighted button will mute the music sytstem in the home and cause the chime to ring. A voice response to the doorbell can be made from any VCPage inside the home. The doorbell button then becomes a push-to-talk button for the visitor to communicate through. The conversation in the home is heard through audio speakers and outside through the built-in speaker on the DBI.

The DBI is available in Brushed Brass (BB as shown) or Stainless Steel (SS) to accent any home's decor. Unit requires one of the 10-zones on the VCPage-Base.

Two versions are available: The VCPage-DBI utilizes the home's existing doorbell, while the VCPage-DBI-C includes a self-generating chime.
