The IRZ-1 provides a convenient zonable (from 2 to 6 zones, both unidirectional and bi-directional depending on the "in the field" configuration) connecting point for remote relay systems, eliminating hard-wiring. Each room has it's own screw-down connector for the IRTarget and each emitter and power supply have their own 1/8" plug-in jacks.

Routing control is provided by four simple to use shunts (see close up). Gold plated header pins are used for maximum signal integrity. An auxiliary emitter expansion port (IRS-1) allows (4 max) more hard-wired emitter outputs than the standard 6 plug-in type.
