Audioplex Technology, a leader in custom installed audio/video components and accessories is seeking a qualified engineer to augment our growing technical staff. In this position, you will interface directly with manufacturing staff as well as internal and customer development teams. Some travel, both domestic and international may be required.

You will analyze and recommend design options for manufacturability, reliability, durability, performance and cost. Creativity and attention to detail are required in this position. Solid communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to work independently to generate unique solutions to engineering design problems are required.

Audio/video product design of consumer electronics will be the primary focus of this position. Previous design experience of custom audio/video systems a plus.

Requirements: BS in Electrical or Electrical Engineering with 5-8 years of product design experience.

Audioplex Technology is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a salaried full-time position in our Technical Department. This individual will act as a bench technician, as well as providing product support. This position will require public speaking skills, travel and a professional attitude. Support will be telephone based with some e-mail responses required. You will also be required to provide in-field product training to dealers. Individuals with previous Custom Residential audio/video installation experience are preferred.

Familiarity with common test instruments such as meters, oscilloscopes etc. a prerequisite.
